Right now Liefje is attending GamesCon and the Intel Extreme Masters Pro/Am Challenge in Cologne. A lot of top players are attending the tournament and if you want to see what the Quake tournament area looks like you can watch the video below made by rakaka. The video is in Swedish though, but there are not  much talking done anyway. And be sure not to miss the best parts in the video. At 1.25 and at 2.50 you will see Liefje playing! I have no idea what that Captain Blood hat is doing on her monitor, you’ll have to ask her about that.

Lately (ok, the past 2 weekends), there have been cups in Quake Live on Sundays. They are quick 1v1 cups but are a lot of fun to play in! I’m forcing myself to play in some so that I can play duel. It’s working too, between those cups and the ESL Quake Live Razer invitational, I am so motivated for duel!

For me it was really hard to find motivation for duel even if I have been playing Clan Arena for many months now, but finally I think I want to play some! Both me and trito entered in the Sunday cups last weekend, and perhaps we will also this weekend! If you want more information on the upcoming tournaments, I would say that over here would be your best bet.

Another really cool thing is that lately a lot of girls have been coming out of the woodwork in Quake Live. These girls are motivated and dedicated, which is really rare in gaming! Best of luck to all the new girls trying Quake and I hope you enjoy it!

This summer ClanBase has hosted QuakeLive 1v1 tournament. Now it’s coming to an end and I’ve managed to take the 3rd place in league 4. To see my opponents and results you can head over to my profile at ClanBase.

This week I will most likely spend my time playing another game than QuakeLive. Liefje is playing Nintendo DS and when I visited her last month I tried hers. I liked it and now I’ve ordered one for myself. It should get here any day now.
