I know i’ve been neglecting a lot of things online such as this website and my personal website lately but i’m sure you can guess why! I have been in Birmingham for the past week (and i’m still here) because I have been trying out for a Dead or Alive 4 spot on one of the 2 European franchises.
I waited around for a few days (and played a lot during that time) as I arrived on Wednesday and they didn’t run the DOA4 Female EU tournament until Saturday. I was the extreme underdog here as my main competitor was beating the experienced UK girls quite easily. She used the character La Mariposa (Lisa) which I guess no one was used to playing against. From doing some reading on DoA4 I was under the imperssion that Lisa was quite an unsafe character to play, moreso than others. It didn’t seem to get her into any trouble though!
I placed 2nd in the tournament and as a result I got picked for the Berlin Allianz team. It was really an incredible feeling to be up there and with other players who are the best of the best at their respective games.
Since then i’ve started to get to know my new fellow Berlin Allianz representitives and they are all incredibly cool people. In fact, so are the people on the Stockholm team. While in the EU finals it was all competition, off-stage everyone just seems to be all-round awesome people. I’m so happy that I could be a part of this.
We are adding to the members bio pages by adding actual video blogs so you can get to know the girls better. At the moment we have 3 new vlogs posted and they can be found in aNouC, Ms.X, and Trinelin’s profile. Stay tuned as there will be more where that came from in the other gal’s profiles. Thanks!

We just got to know our Liefje got drafted to play DOA4 for one of the EU teams. The team leader that choose Liefje was bESEL and she will thereforbe playing in the Berlin team.
We will hopefully have some more information for you later on and of course some words from Liefje.
I’ve been playing the Team Fortress 2 Demo for some days now and I must say it’s a really fun game to play. I have never played Team Fortress before and I didn’t know what to expect.
You play in two teams and if you want to be successful you have to have good team work and help your team mates. For each round you can select what class to play. So far my favourites to play are Soldier, Sniper and Medic. But I think mechanic can be a lot of fun too.
If you like team based FPS games like Enemy Territory, Quake CTF or CounterStrike I advise you to try the game. Below you can see a teaser for the game.
If you are playing TF2, contact me in our IRC channel #g0d (0 = zero) and we can play some games together.

These days it seems like MySpace and Facebook are taking over the world. We have had our MySpace page up and running for several months now, and with all the recent hype with Facebook I decided to create a girlz 0f destruction group there. Although our team (and competitive gaming in general) has had some downtime this year, we are ready to get back into the game and try to promote professional gaming as much as possible. Please show your support and join our social groups to learn about upcoming news, events, contests, and more!

Last week it got annouced WSVG, one of the biggest events, will shut down. The website gotfrag interviewed some of the Quake 4 players about their thoughts about it. Trito was one of the gamers that got interviewed, head to gotfrag to read it.
Our own Liefje is heading over to Great Britain as we speak to compete at the Championship Gaming Series, for Dead or Alive 4 in hopes to get drafted. This is the first attempt by a member of girlz 0f destruction to enter the world of console on a competitive level, so we will cross our fingers for her and hope for the best!
The lucky player that gets drafted will receive a $30,000 USD salary per year so it is definitely a big deal and a wonderful opportunity. The event will run from September 19 23 in Birmingham, England. Go go gadget g0d!
