I would like to start by saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY to RocketQueen, (yesterday oops!). We have had a great summer, with lots of events, Quakecon was fun but unfortunately there was no MsQuakecon, maybe next year! CPL Summer was a lot of fun for Trito and I, and I reached my goal of top 32 yay! With the points I earned from CPL I made it back into the GGL TOP 100 Rankings, yay for me!
I want to give you an idea of what our schedule may look like for the next couple of months, August 24-29 Russia (missy), August 24-28 Germany (Ms.X maybe), Septemeber: Special Contest!, September 28-Oct 1st: China and/or South Africa, Oct 6-8, London WSVG, Oct 13-15 NYC, Oct 22-26 Special Weekend in Sweden, November: Italy and Dreamhack, December: CPL Dallas. Those are just off the top of my head and not exact in dates, but it looks like a great start!
Summer may be over, but our adventures are not.

The team has a lot on our plate for the month of June. June 4th to June 11th, Therese Jamie and Alana will be going to Taipei, Taiwan for COMPUTEX . The travel time it takes to get to Taipei from Stockholm is 18 hours, we will be so tired and jetlagged when we arrive. After that, soon following is Dreamhack in Jönköping, Sweden June 17-20th. At Dreamhack will be WSVG Quake4 tournament and possibly ESWC Swedish qualifier for Quake4.
Then.. on June 23rd we will be bootcamping hard core with the whole cs team! The 2 girls from the UK will be joining us in the Home of Chrome. We will play hard for that week and travel together to Paris, France for ESWC: June 28th-July 3rd. I'm so lucky that I will be in Paris on my birthday!
After that, we still don't get a break, Therese and I travel on July 4th from Stockholm to Dallas for CPL SUmmer (July 5th-9th). It is quite a busy schedule and we are trying to get as much rest as possible. Also, I have started to put up some profiles for our CS girls, check the members section!

Liefje, Ms.X, RQ, and Trito have just returned from E3 Expo in Los Angeles. VIA had a meeting room where press could interview them and talk with them. Also following them around was the Chrome Man (with no relation to the wizard of oz's Tin Man!). Since Alana is now working for VIACGA she has wrote 2 excellent articles on 'E3 MAYHEM' that can be found here: Part 1 and Part 2. Also checking in from E3, Trito was able to write about the girlz encounter with LEEEEROY JENKINS, and the Chrome Man had an appearance in Liefje's blog here. Unfortunately, I did not join them in the E3 shinnanigans because I went home to visit family and friends in the Bay Area. But in a few days we will ALL be back in Sweden, reunited! Over & Out.

First off I would like to apologize for not updating the site more. Lately we have been constantly posting on our other website for the Chrome Home www.girlzgaminghouse.com , we have been writing two blogs each day. The big news I would like to share with everyone is extremely exciting. Well, we have been accepted into the ESWC Counterstrike Females tournament!!! A couple of weeks ago we applied for the invitation slots (which are only open to teams that have no qualifier in their country), so we applied for the U.K. team. However, you may be wondering how that is possible because each of us is from a different country! Well, we found two lovely ladies to help us out in our CS journey, and their names are Dina "Hbee" Vincent and Anne "Jaffy" Rogers. They are both located in the U.K., and since Alana is a U.K. passport holder as well, we have a majority of 3 U.K. citizens, and thus we are the U.K. CounterStrike team! Our lineup will look like this:
Ms.X
Missy
Jaffy
trito
Hbee
Liefje as Coach

CeBiT
Thanks to VIA we had the opportunity to take part of CeBiT, the biggest electronic expo in Europe. We had a chrome stage connected to the VIA booth where we played shootout games against challengers. Anyone who beated us got a S27 Chrome graphic card. We played about 300 games and lost only 2 of them, luckily enough for the audience we gave away some graphic cards to the audience as well.

Win a new graphic card!!!
We are lucky enough to have VIA and S3 as partners and among other things they are providing us with S3 Chrome S27 graphic cards so we can play high demanding games like Quake 4. Now you have the opportunity to win one of theese cards. Go to the home of chrome and look for the crazy chrome competition. By sending in a photo of something chromy/silver you can be the lucky winner of a card.

Congratulations Barbie!
Missy, trito, Liefje, and myself have just returned back to Sweden from Moscow after spending a nice few days at the ASUS Winter event. This was our first time meeting Barbie and it was a pleasure to finally do so. Our team was competing in the VIA Chrome Cup and with some good competition and a high level of skill coming from Russia and Ukraine, I am happy to say that Barbie took one for the team and took a nice 2nd place finish, behind Quetz of St.Petersberg. Fly-CC of the Ukraine placed 3rd, while Missy finished in 4th. Well played to all of the girls and also a congrats to Cooller, Hunter, and Jibo for their place in the Q4 open 1v1 tourney. Russia was great and I really hope we can go back and visit again for another ASUS cup. I have posted interviews and gallery on VIA CGA so be sure to have a look see.

The time has finally come when our dreams became a reality. For well over a year we had been discussing relocating to Sweden and starting up a "gaming house" where we could live and practice together. With the help from our great sponsor VIA / s3 graphics, Liefje, Missy, trito, and myself are now residents of Sweden for the next year at least and have moved into a large 6 bedroom house just outside of Stockholm. We have a lot of great ideas on what we can do with the house in terms of including the gaming community, and have a website dedicated to the chrome home alone. You can check that out at click girlzgaminghouse.com keep your eyes peeled for ongoing contests, invitations, galleries, and daily blogs of our crazy adventures along the way.

Russia-bound girlz!
We are off to Moscow, Russia in a couple of weeks, 17 days to be exact! The Russian ASUS Cup will be underway soon, and our brilliant sponsor VIA is hosting the Quake4 1 versus 1 CHROME CUP for 32 female participants. A handful of us will be in Moscow representing the team with the lovely g0d*Barbie as our guide! I am extremely excited to meet her! The CHROME CUP will feature the CPL maps: Monsoon, Phrantic, Galang, and The Lost Fleet. The tournament also features a plump prize purse with $3,000USD for first place, $2k for 2nd, and $1k for 3rd place. The details can be found at Cyberfight.ru however I know not everyone can read Russian, so I found a translating website to make it easier, just click here. Shortly after ASUS Cup was annouced, Barbie wrote an excellent article about the team at cyberfight.ru, here is a translated link to that as well. See you in Moscow! <3

Chromed at VIA ESi
Me, Missy and Ms.X are currently in London at the VIA ESi tournament. First day has been great with many intense games between the 16 invited players and it sure makes it even more exciting following the games when Redeye and Tosspot from ITG shoutcast the games. Me, Missy and Ms.X have been busy playing shootouts all day and we have been trying some new really cool maps from the viacga and Doom3world map competition. Tomorrow we will play even more shootout games and of course follow the finals, good luck to all players.

Happy new gaming year!
Only some days into the new year and we are already planning for upcomming events this year. It looks like this will be a great year for g0d, we will attend many events and LANs this year. Because our team members are spread all over the world, a dream for several years has been to move in together in an apartment to be able to game with each other and take the gaming into an even more serious level. This is a dream that will come true this month when some of our members will move to Sweden. Check back here soon to get more details about this.
