Secret Santa
We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! This year the girls put together a "Secret Santa" drawing and it turned out to be a success! For those of you who don't know what "Secret Santa" is, it's where you have a group of people and put all of their names in a hat (or bowl or whatever) and whoever's name you draw is who you have to buy a present for. My "Secret Santa" was g0d-sWeeTfLoW and I received a beautiful bracelet and necklace from her… all the way from New Zealand! w00t!! Meanwhile, g0d-missy was trying to be the sleuth and figure out who was whose "Secret Santa" and attempting to trick us into slipping the secret. Nice try Missy!!! All in all it was great fun, buying gifts, giving gifts and avoiding Missy's traps! But most of all, it made me grateful to have such wonderful friends!

If you haven't heard of World of Warcraft yet, it is about time that you did. On November 23, 2004 at 12am, Blizzard Entertainment released their long awaited Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG), World of Warcraft (WoW). Currently, some of us are interested in playing WoW or are playing it currently. Playing WoW? You can find of us on the Pacific server, Proudmoore. Ms.X undefeated in Sitex
Ms.X went undefeated in the 1v1 Quake III challange in Sitex. Despite a tight schedule with about 140 games in four days she managed to stay focused all the time. Total frag count was 1,560 for Ms.X and -20 for the challangers. Once again Ms.X has proven herself to be a really great player and we a ll want to congratulate her for that fantastic achievement. Hopefully the g0d team can all go down to Singapore next year for World Cyber Games as it sounds like a great place to visit.

Ms.X does a shootout challange at SITEX, Singapore
Ms.X is in Singapore promoting our sponsor razer in a fatal1ty-like shootout, except quake3 style. "Simply sign up for a death match with Ms. X, the world's top female gamer, at Razer's booth in SITEX 2004..." Full report here. This has been made possible due to the wonderful people at Razer Asia and their new amazing product the diamondback! Alana is attending the SITEX 2004 convention where her shootout will be held, those who are victorious against her will win $1000 (S) , but since Alana is an amazing player, that won't be happening much (if at all). Anyone in the area should definitely check out the convention and the booth! I know it will be a blast, and I wish Alana the best of luck! This girlz got game!

WCG in San Fransisco and new member
Yet again, we lag with writing news. Well first of all I must say that our trip to San Francisco was fabulous! We had a really great time and it was nice to meet gamers from around the globe. Be sure to check out our photos from our magic carpet riding adventure throughout San Fran which is located in our forum. Again, a big thanks goes out to razer for making this happen for us. Missy and I were also interviewed by CNN, which is great exposure for the gaming community. I've been told it should be aired in the first half of January. Don't miss it! So what else is new with g0d? Well we've made some changes to our roster, and things are going great. We've picked up a new member trito, from Sweden. I've met trito a few times at lans and I'm delighted she joined with us. We also have plans to attend E3 2005 with razer in Los Angeles, that should be great, we're really looking forward to it. I'd also like to mention our good friend Tommy from geekwearz has informed us that his new site has launched, be sure to check out all the crazy gear he has in store at www.geekwearz.com/store Speaking of new websites...Tommy may not be the only one! More to come on that subject, *wink*

g0d goes to WCG in San Fransisco
Some great news for girlz 0f destruction. Our new sponsor razer, has been kind enough to send 6 lucky girls from our team to this years World Cyber Games October 6-10th 2004 in San Francisco, California! We will be at their vendor booth to demonstrate and promote the launch of the new razer mouse, the diamondback. There will also be 6 high end PC's there where you can challenge us and give the new killer gaming mouse a try. Games we will be playing include Doom3, Unreal2004, Quake3, and maybe more. If you will be there, stop by for some fun and games. We have sWeeTfLoW coming all the way from Auckland New Zealand, k1tykat from Seattle WA, RQ from Phoenix AZ, Missy from Berkeley, CA, myself from Edinburgh Scotland, the legendary player Kornelia from Los Angeles CA, and our old school member Keyla might even make an appearance! Should be a lot of fun, we're all really excited. Best of luck to all of the players that will be competing in the touarnament, especially eVenfLoW! :) See you in San Francisco!

Happy New Year!!! (17 days late). I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays, but now its back to gaming! g0d has been undergoing some changes these past few weeks, good changes. I'm thrilled to announce our 12 new UT insta gib players! The team formerly known as Perfect10 has combined with g0d to expand. I'm still working on their profiles, but don't fret you'll see them soon! On another note, boy am I glad I didn't go to Cyber X Games.. Whew! I'm looking forward to Quakecon2004 even more now! Do we still play quake3? YES we do! We are participating in the CAL ra3 ladder and team nova's osp tdm tourney! But wait! We aren't only playing q3 and ut now, we also play Call of Duty! Yes, that's right, g0d + cod. We're recruiting for CoD now, please stop by #g0d on enterthegame, quakenet, progameplayer, or gamesnet if you're interested. However, I'm having problems with gamesnet right now, so please come to ETG to find me. Last but not least, we have a new member separate from Perfect10, please welcome new member Lysistrata!
