After a good few days of Unreal Tournament 2004 rage at the World Cyber Games in Seattle, our newest member Trinelin proved why she’s a g0d! After playing 78 challenges from gamers around the world, she came out alive with only three losses and Ms.X playing 64 games and losing only one.

Bill Hutchens of the News Tribune has written some nice words on Trinelin and included a video of her kicking butt at the shootout.

GGL wire is making videos from WCG, Seattle. Yesterday their reporter Mahmood challanged Ms.X in a game of Quake 3.

We have been to many events world wide in the last years and we are constantly updating our photo gallery on flickr with photos from both recent and older events.

From October 3rd-7th Trinelin and Ms.X from the g0d team will be at the World Cyber Games finals in Seattle, WA and will have their hands full!

During the day they will be taking challenges at the Razer booth in both Unreal 2004 and Quake 3. If you will be there definitely stop by and say hello!

Also ….some good news. In partnership with the totally awesome new drink “STOKED ENERGY,” there will be a dragons den lounge at a suite in the players village hotel. It will be open from 10pm-1am on Thurs, Fri, and Sat night with free pizza, Stoked, and Xbox battles! with the girlz 0f destruction and Team EG.

These days it seems like MySpace and Facebook are taking over the world. We have had our MySpace page up and running for several months now, and with all the recent hype with Facebook I decided to create a girlz 0f destruction group there. Although our team (and competitive gaming in general) has had some downtime this year, we are ready to get back into the game and try to promote professional gaming as much as possible. Our own Liefje is heading over to Great Britain as we speak to compete at the Championship Gaming Series, for Dead or Alive 4 in hopes to get drafted. This is the first attempt by a member of girlz 0f destruction to enter the world of console on a competitive level, so we will cross our fingers for her and hope for the best!

The lucky player that gets drafted will receive a $30,000 USD salary per year so it is definitely a big deal and a wonderful opportunity. The event will run from September 19 – 23 in Birmingham, England. Go go gadget g0d!

<3 girlz 0f destruction

WSVG Toronto is over and trito who competed in the Quake 4 tournament ended up top 24. The players she lost to in the tournament were Gelleshak from Canada and ERMAC from US.

We hope we will be able to compete in more WSVG events in the future.

Today Gameriot posted an interview with trito. She is explaining why she last minute decided to switch game from Guitar Hero II to Quake 4 in WSVG. She also talks about what happened to all the girls after moving out from the clans gaming house and what we can expect of girlz 0f destruction in the future.
