We are happy to announce that Therese “trito” Andersson and Alana “Ms.X” Reid will be heading to Hanover, Germany to attend CeBIT 2008. Just like CES, the girlz will be demonstrating the Belkin N52te game pad by taking challenges in both Quake 4 and Unreal 3 at the Belkin booth. This is very exciting news as CeBIT is the world’s largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions for home and work environments.

The Belkin booth will be located in Hall 25, Stand E84. If you’ll be attending definitely come by the booth and challenge one of the girlz in a fun game and try out the N52te, which comes equipped with fully customizable keys, portable player profiles, and pretty blue backlighting.  Hope to see you there!!

Oh yes…this could get interesting

Both trito and RocketQueen will be at this years annual Consumer Electronics Show from January 6th-1th in Las Vegas. The girlz will be there doing a shootout on the PC with the new game, Unreal 3. Though the team is familiar with taking on challenges at events, there is something new to add to the equation: Playing at the Belkin booth using the n52te - have a look at this interesting little contraption!

I have yet to try it, but it looks very intriguing. If you will be attending CES you should definitely stop by the Belkin booth @ 30368 South hall. The girls may also come equipped with s stash of Stoked Energy drinks to keep them on the ball for this new venture. I am going to try and make it myself, CES is definitely a cool event to check out and…viva, Las Vegas!

Most of us are away celebrating the holidays, but we’ll be back when the holidays are over.

CPL starts tomorrow in Dallas. Chickamungus and Coochie Dimes will be there to compete in the Halo 3 tournament with a prize pool of $100.000 USD. Right now 181 players are registered and you can find the complete player list on the CPL website.

In addition, they will also be there stocked up with energy drinks, thanks to STOKED Energy. Be sure to him them up when you’re thirsty! (Or very tired…)

Right now DreamHack, the biggest LAN in the world takes place in Jönköping Sweden. The radio show P3 star has broadcasted live from the LAN and on their website they’ve also posted an interview with trito. The interview is in Swedish, if you want to read it head over to: P3 star’s website.

g0d*Liefje is now in Los Angeles to play DOA4 in the CGS finals. As most of you know she is playing for Berlin Allianz and now the team has posted photos from Los Angeles on their website. Are you living in Sweden? Make sure you don’t miss Kulturnyheterna at 7 pm CET. They have interviewed Liefje to find out what it is like to be a pro gamer. Liefje also explains what skills you need to be good in DOA4 and you also get to see her playing the game.

It’s a ten minute broadcast and the part about Liefje will be towards the end. Some of the speaker text will be in Swedish, but the parts where Liefje speaks it’s in English.
