Gaming History
I’ve been brought up around computer games: when I was younger I learned my ABCs from Stickybear on the old Apple II. I then went on to play games like Kings Quest, Hero’s Quest, Space Quest… basically any one of those games where you had to type your characters actions. Oh and Commander Keen of course!
My first taste of FPS games came when I played a little Duke Nukem and Wolfenstein 3D. Then one day my brother brought home a copy of the Unreal Tournament demo. I sat and watched him play and immediately wanted a turn. I was about 13 at the time and no way did I have my own computer good enough to run the game. I was familiar with multi player games through calling up friends with the modem and playing things like Starcraft this was a whole new thing for me. I was hooked and would sneak out of bed at 3am just to keep playing.
