Blog: Playing Unreal Tournament 3 for the first time - trito

Yesterday the Unreal Tournament 3 demo was realased. When I got home from work I installed it and played it for some hours. I got an a server with fojji and Stermy and we had some tdm games, it was fun!

I haven’t played the previous UT games that much. I played UT2k4 at a LAN event just for fun some years ago. Living in the gaming house with the clan, I also learned some UT2k4 when watching Liefje playing. I recognized the weapons in UT3 from UT2k4, so I pretty much knew how the weapons worked. The problem for me is there are more weapons to bind in UT3 than in Quake 4 and my fingers are not used to press the new keys yet. I am also not sure what key would be the best to bind secondary fire, I would prefer it on my thumb mouse button, but I already use it for rockets.

I liked the overall feeling of the game, it feels very smooth. The movement felt nice too, even if I’m not used to dodge jumping instead of strafe jumping. Speaking of jumping, I like the jumping boots, feels like flying. :P

I think UT3 will be a fun game to play.

    Ah haha xD .I’m still not played yet i will try to play it near weeks .Hehe as know i will leave NFS:Carbon and get go to my favorite Game UT3 .I’m still wait about 7 year UT for WCG xD.I’m happy XD. Still no answer from Trinelin and Ms.x they get still sleeping after drunk at in Double Tree Hotel xD. Wake up Girls !
