When I started playing Quake 3 many years ago I used to play Clan Arena a lot. In Clan Arena you have two teams, often 4 or 5 in each team. There are no armours, health bubbles or ammo on the map, but you get all the weapons from the start. The game is round based and one round ends when all people in one team are fraged. If you get fraged you won’t respawn until the next round. The team still standing in the end of the round gets one point.

When I was hooked on Clan Arena I used to play it 2-10 hours a day. I remember once I stayed on the same server, not disconnecting even once, from 6pm until 6am. After a while other game types started to take over though, like 1v1, tdm, ctf and later on I changed the game to Quake 4. I stopped playing Clan Arena.

But these two last weeks I’ve started playing Quake 3 Clan Arena again. I used to play OSP, but now it seems like most people are playing CPMA, so I’ve been switching mod. I’m playing public and if you wish to play some Clan Arena with me you are more than welcome to join. You will find me on the server “pbBaby”.
