Recently the World Cyber Games have announced their official games for 2005 where they have excluded the 1v1 First Person Shooter Unreal Tournament 2004. Unreal was replaced with Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of war, a new real time strategy (RTS) game. There are no 1v1 FPS games that have been selected for the World Cyber Games 2005, which are being held in Singapore in mid-November this year. Another game missing from the list is Project Gotham Racing II, which has been replaced by Dead or Alive Ultimate.

Although it may be in vain, please sign the petition to try and get UT2004 back in its rightful place!

Also, recently i've been working on a UT2004 frag movie. This isn't the greatest piece of artwork, and wasn't intended to be. Currently i'm working on a more quality frag movie, both content and video/sound quality-wise. I hope you enjoy it!

We have picked up a new member, TinY from Sweden and I’m really glad she's joined our team. Tiny’s gaming history goes way back, and she’s still a very active player. Today she’s playing Quake 3 and Warcraft 3. First time we got together was on a Q3 CTF server. Since then we have been playing a lot of games together and have become really close friends in real life as well. Tiny is a great player and also a really nice person. Welcome to g0d! For more about TinY, be sure to check out her bio in the members section, which will be up soon.

We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! This year the girls put together a "Secret Santa" drawing and it turned out to be a success! For those of you who don't know what "Secret Santa" is, it's where you have a group of people and put all of their names in a hat (or bowl or whatever) and whoever's name you draw is who you have to buy a present for. My "Secret Santa" was g0d-sWeeTfLoW and I received a beautiful bracelet and necklace from her… all the way from New Zealand! w00t!! Meanwhile, g0d-missy was trying to be the sleuth and figure out who was whose "Secret Santa" and attempting to trick us into slipping the secret. Nice try Missy!!! All in all it was great fun, buying gifts, giving gifts and avoiding Missy's traps! But most of all, it made me grateful to have such wonderful friends!

M s.X went undefeated in the 1v1 Quake III challange in Sitex. Despite a tight schedule with about 140 games in four days she managed to stay focused all the time. Total frag count was 1,560 for Ms.X and -20 for the challangers. Once again Ms.X has proven herself to be a really great player and we a ll want to congratulate her for that fantastic achievement. Hopefully the g0d team can all go down to Singapore next year for World Cyber Games as it sounds like a great place to visit.

Ms. X is in Singapore promoting our sponsor razer in a fatal1ty-like shootout, except quake3 style. "Simply sign up for a death match with Ms. X, the world's top female gamer, at Razer's booth in SITEX 2004..." Full report here. This has been made possible due to the wonderful people at Razer Asia and their new amazing product the diamondback! Alana is attending the SITEX 2004 convention where her shootout will be held, those who are victorious against her will win $1000 (S) , but since Alana is an amazing player, that won't be happening much (if at all). Anyone in the area should definitely check out the convention and the booth! I know it will be a blast, and I wish Alana the best of luck! This girlz got game!

Y et again, we lag with writing news. Well first of all I must say that our trip to San Francisco was fabulous! We had a really great time and it was nice to meet gamers from around the globe. Be sure to check out our photos from our magic carpet riding adventure throughout San Fran which is located in our forum. Again, a big thanks goes out to razer for making this happen for us. Missy and I were also interviewed by CNN, which is great exposure for the gaming community. I've been told it should be aired in the first half of January. Don't miss it! So what else is new with g0d? Well we've made some changes to our roster, and things are going great. We've picked up a new member trito, from Sweden. I've met trito a few times at lans and I'm delighted she joined with us. We also have plans to attend E3 2005 with razer in Los Angeles, that should be great, we're really looking forward to it. I'd also like to mention our good friend Tommy from geekwearz has informed us that his new site has launched, be sure to check out all the crazy gear he has in store at www.geekwearz.com/store Speaking of new websites...Tommy may not be the only one! More to come on that subject, *wink*

There will also be 6 high end PC's there where you can challenge us and give the new killer gaming mouse a try. Games we will be playing include Doom3, Unreal2004, Quake3, and maybe more. Yes, that's right, g0d + cod. We're recruiting for CoD now, please stop by #g0d on enterthegame, quakenet, progameplayer, or gamesnet if you're interested. However, I'm having problems with gamesnet right now, so please come to ETG to find me. Last but not least, we have a new member separate from Perfect10, please welcome new member Lysistrata! ~

Ok, we've been lazy. This post should have been made weeks ago, but ohh well. The g0d girls are back from Dallas, and I must say we had a wonderful time! Quakecon was a lot of fun, was great to meet everyone. Hopefully we will be able to return again next year. As for MsQuakecon, Missy finished the in top 8 and Ms.X 2nd. Hooray for us! I would like to congratulate succubus for a well played game in the final, and taking 1st in MsQuakecon. Also props to ZeRo4, for winning his 3rd Quakecon for the main Q3 1on1 tournament, and iNfensus for a well deserved victory in RTCW. On another note, I am happy to announce love is in the air for some of the g0d girls. Yay! Hmmm where can I begin? Some interesting things have been happening on the g0d front lately. First off, for those that may have heard some silly rumors about Bones being Tinker, that was a misunderstanding on CAL's part due to some shared cd keys or something. All is sorted out now concerning that matter. Yay! I also want to welcome our new member Buffy! Her name is Shannon and she lives in California. Check out her profile for more info! On that note, we are starting a CS division, so any of you gals that may be seeking a clan please drop us a line, And last but not least, thanks to www.esreality.com, I came across something a bit unusual - An online female 1v1 tourney! This is something I have been wanting to take part in for a while, so it should be a lot of fun. The only slight downfall is that it's European based, so the ping will be an interesting challenge. (200 ping hpb stylez!!) Expect to see some g0d members playing in this! More info @ www.miss-q.tk

Quakecon CTF qualifiers WHAT!
On June 18th we had our game versus clan519. They chose map q3wcp1, and we took good old q3w2. On the g0d roster we had Zarbina, Ms.X, Kata_Jade, and Missy. For clan519, it was Gestahl(ZeRo4), Gryp, Gator, and StacY(socrates). Although we didn't manage to qualify, it was a good experience for us to play the best q3 team in North America, and we had a lot of fun doing it. Good luck to clan519 in the q3CTF tourney! For g0d demos just email or ask us on IRC; Some of clan519's demos are available here. For the ref's POV on q3wcp1 click here. And click here for the ref's demo on q3w2.

More information is at retraced.com The round robin groups have been announced, it looks like we have some pretty tough groups. Wish us luck!!

What games have we been playing lately? Well as you all know we play ra3 but for the past couple of weeks the RA.org site has been down; at the moment we have a lot of downtime! Some members have taken an interest in Wansanity! (a cool new cpma league). [g0d] does not have a team competing in WANsanity, but you'll find members on rosters of other teams (such as QGz!)
I've put up IRC stats in the IRC section..(lmao!) go look! Also the MISC section is starting to come along.. I need members to send me GOOD screenshots so we can fill that page up!
Did you all forget we had a FORUM? Well it looks like you did; Comments and questions posted on the forum would be greatly appreciated thank you!
